Due to ongoing rising costs in the production of ultra-light gauge PET film products, including both raw materials and other operating costs, Toray Plastics (America) is announcing a 15% price increase on all PET films with a gauge below 7 microns effective with shipments on or after May 1, 2017.

Although we do everything possible to improve productivity and to reduce internal costs so that such measures can generally be avoided, this price increase is necessary to allow for a healthy, sustainable operating environment while allowing us to maintain our long-term ability to provide the stable supply and product quality upon which our customers have come to rely.
